House. Mid-C18, with some late C20 alterations. Brick with tile roof,
gable end stacks. Set back about two metres from building line of street.
Three storeys on basement, moulded wooden cornice;, two windows: 16-pane
boxed sash to left, boxed glazing bar sash to right, both with rubbed
brick heads; second floor: horizontally sliding sash to left, 6-pane sash
to right, both under segmental heads; ground floor: windows as first floor;
entrance to right of centre has a wooden doorcase with engaged Doric column
with entablature to open pediment, the latter with modillioned cornice, fan-
light with decorative glazing; panelled reveals to recessed door of six raised
and fielded panels. Interior: open well staircase has ramped moulded hand
rail, slender turned balusters and open string; original fireplaces in a
number of rooms have simple eared architraves.
