3/96 Stable court about
50 metres south of
Spring Grove


Stables, now cafe. Late C18 with some late C20 alterations. Painted brick
with hipped slate roofs. Stables arranged around court yard with decorative
entrance front. South front: central entrance, each side of which is a blind
arcade of five bays with semi-circular heads below a simple parapet; central
entrance is pedimented capped by a cupola with clock which has four faces.
