Almshouses. Founded 1645, rebuilt late C18 and restored 1972. Brick with
hipped tile roof, ridge stacks. L-plan, with ranges extending to north-east
and south-east. North-west (street) front: two storeys, dentilled brick
cornice, chamfered brick plinth, 2 + 1 + 2 windows: central bay slightly
advanced, 2-light C20 casements; ground floor: four 2-light C20 casements
under segmental heads; central entrance under basket-arched recess, entrance
also has a basket-arch with stone impost blocks, boarded door opens into
passageway. Entrances to houses from rear.
