House, now public house. Mid-C18 with mid-C19 and some late C20 alterations.
Rendered brick with machine tile roof, stack to rear. Two storeys with attic
lit by two gabled dormers, dentilled brick cornice, brick coped verge to
right with stone kneeler; two windows: canted bay windows rising through two
storeys with flat roofs; central entrance reached by two brick steps, pilastered
wooden doorcase with gabled canopy, C19 panelled door. Painted C20 sign board
on wall over entrance, over which is a relief panel inscribed "COCK AND PIE".
Interior: a number of C18 boarded doors on the first floor and in the attic.
