4/314 Whitehouse Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C17 with late C18 alterations and mid-C19 additions, and some
mid-C20 alterations. Timber-frame with painted brick infill clad in brick,
with tile roof. L-plan, ranges extending to west and north. North front:
gabled wing projects to left, to right of this a C19 gabled addition; to
right hand corner C18 random rubble lean-to of one storey, other parts of
two storeys with gable lit attic; first floor: a 3-light casement to left;
ground floor: 2-light casement, to right a C20 flat-roofed extension with
entrance. Framing: visible in left-hand gable, is four square panels high.
