8/6 The Old Well House
- II
House. Late C17 to early C18 with mid-C19 and some late C20 alterations.
Timber-frame with painted brick infill, tile roof, stack with three tall
diamond shafts. Three framed bays aligned east/west, lean-to to north-west
corner. North front: two storeys, catslide over single storey to right
which has the entrance with C20 ledged and boarded door; to left six windows.
Fixed casements in pairs. Ground floor with C20 oriel windows. Framing:
surviving on first floor; three square panels high with straight tension braces.
