Hand forge building. Early Cl9 with some early C20 alterations. Brick with
corrugated asbestos roof, hipped to east end. West front gabled with a 3-light
casement over the entrance. Interior contains 2 hearths for hand forging.
Forms a part of a spade and shovel mill, an important industrial survival.
Forms a part of a scheduled ancient monument.
