Earlier C18 exterior to C16 timber frame inn. Roughcast on brick. Cement dressings. Mansard old red tile roof. Two storeys and attics. Central door with moulded architrave surround and heavy brackets carrying renewed cornice hood. Mid C19 three-light casement windows and two-light box dormers. Coved cornice with cyma recta. Mid C19 single storey extension on south with gable end to road and sash window. Rear central gabled staircase tower and C19 lean-to with pantile roof.
