GV II

Barn. Early C17. Timber frame on tarred red brick sill, dark
weatherboarded with steep old red tile roofs. A tall double barn facing
S with 3 bays to each half, partition between, and a gabled porch
projecting on S from middle bay of each half with a winnowing door
opposite each. Heavy jowled posts with long straight braces to cambered
tie-beams. Long bays with unjowled central posts, and similar central
post to partition. Clasped-purlin roof on angled queen-posts.
