House, sometime an inn. C17, altered and extended in C18, The Swan PH in
C19, a house since 1914, altered 1922. Roughcast with steep Lipped old
red tile roofs. An L-shaped 2 storeys house facing W with long NE rear
wing and 2 large external rear wall chimneys. 5 windows W front has
dentilled eaves and a timber framed gabled tiled porch in S part with
6-panel door. Flush casement windows (metal). Very large old external
rear chimney with tiled offsets and C18 added shaft for a 1st floor
fireplace. NE wing has 2 flush casement windows with small panes and
pointed lights. Lean-to at S in angle. Timber frame exposed in interior
of W range. White swan as a wind vane on W range.
