Barn at Hollins Hall
11/101 (20m to NE of house)


Barn. C17. Timber frame dark weatherboarded with steep old red tile
roof. A tall 3-bays barn facing W with opposed double doors in middle
bay. Jowled posts, braces to tie-beams removed. Clasped-purlin roof
with straight windbraces at ends. Angled queen-post trusses without
collars. Squint-butted scarf joints in purlins.
