House. Late C17, C20 matching NW rear wing. Timber frame with red brick
infilling on 1st floor but brick cased on ground floor with offset.
Steep old red tile roof. A small 1½ storeys, 2 windows long house facing
S at road junction. 2 gabled dormers at front eaves. Large external W
gable chimney with tiled offsets. C19 single-flue external chimney added
at E gable. 2-light flush casement windows and plank door. Wide-spaced
storey-height studs. Frame fully exposed on E gable with unjowled posts,
straight tension braces, wide panels, and timber framed rear outshut
under catslide roof. W gable has similar framing of clasped-purlin roof
truss with collar and queen-struts.
