6/34 The Bricklayers Arms PH

- II

Public house. Late C18 or early C19. Uncoursed knapped flint with red
brick dressings and flush quoins. Old tiled gambrel roof with 3 box
dormers. 1 storey and attics, 4 casement windows, 2 on right with glazing
bars in reveals under cambered arch, 2 on left flush. Later C19 brick
2 storey LH addition with 1 sash 2/2 panes window pebbledash fronted.
Welsh slated roof and chequered red/black brick LH gable with single
storey tiled brick stable and trap house set back. Pine panelled high
dado, wide fireplace with surround and mantle shelf. Timber framed
interior partition.
