GV II

Barn. C17. Timber frame dark weatherboarded with steep red tile roof. A
tall 5 bays barn facing E with gabled projecting porch to middle bay.
Jowled posts with long straight braces to cambered tie-beams. Angled
queen strut trusses without collars. One butt purlin to each slope
staggered in adjoining bays. Face halved bladed scarf joints in
wallplates over posts. Similar barn to that at Langley Lodge Farm to S.
