House, now 3 commercial properties. C17/early C18, early C19 S extension
(No. 53). Timber frame with dark weatherboarding at N end but red brick
front with blue headers. Lighter red brick S extension (No. 53). Steep
old red tile roofs. Lower S part hipped. No. 51 in two parts: LH has 2
flush 2-light casement windows, segmental arch to half-glazed door and
shop window with segmental plan and plastered reveals. RH part
symmetrical with 2 recessed sash windows with 8/8 panes and a large
square sunk panel between, pilastered shopfront with fascia over 2
windows flanking the glazed door. No. 53 at S has dentilled eaves
course, segmental arch to recessed sash windows with 8/8 panes, above C20
