3 houses in a block. Mid C19. Uncoursed knapped flint facing with yellow
brick bands and dressings, rustic stone impost blocks to a group of 3
arched openings. Rear wall similar but unknapped flint and brick bands
to ends. Slate roof with box eaves. A 2 storeys asymmetrical block
facing W. 4 windows to 1st floor: 3 to ground floor. Recessed sash
windows of 8/8 panes under flat gauged arches. Round arched doorways,
that to No. 63 next N corner: doors to Nos. 65 and 67 grouped flanking
similar opening to tunnel passage to rear. Half glazed 4-panel door to
No. 65 with reeded transom and semi-circular fanlight. Double pile plan
with shared chimneys in LH part and S gable chimneys. Included for group
value. (KLLHMS report 1977 in NMR).
