House, now two houses. C17 or earlier, C18 brick casing, late C20 alteration and extension forming separate house in North West rear wing. Timber frame, red brick casing, very steep pitched old red tile roof hipped at West end. A two-storeys and cellar, two-cells, internal-chimney, lobby-entry plan house facing South, with lower two-storeys rear service wing hipped to North and lower North extension (Mortons House). South front symmetrical with three windows to first floor and two to ground floor flanking a rectangular brick porch with hipped lean-to roof. Three-lights flush casement windows, single-light window over porch. Leaded glazing. Battened door to porch. Casement windows and six-panels fielded door on West elevation to Mortons House. Prominent at entrance to village.
