Sundial. Early C19. Portland stone with bronze dial plate. About 1.5M
tall a monolithic pedestal with plain circular cap, narrower necking,
and sweeping out in a concave curve to a much wider base itself deeply
cusped on three sides to give the appearance of a tripod. It is set on a
triangular base set flush with the ground. All transitions smoothly
curved and no mouldings or other decoration. Set in the top an engraved
sundial plate signed 'CARY. LONDON' with a gnomen arm.
