House. 1815. Dark red brick with lighter red quoins and arches, hipped
slate roof. A large, handsome, symmetrical, 2-storeys, 3 windows wide
house set back from street and facing W. Recessed tall sash windows with
2/2 panes with margin lights and bright red flat gauged arches. Central
entrance with white painted Doric doorcase. 3/4 columns, oval on plan,
with full entablature. Panelled reveals to moulded 2-panels divided door
with margin-lights to fanlight over. Flush stepped quoins to angles of
house. Double-pile plan. Wallhead chimney central at S end. Mid-wall
chimney to N part. 2-storeys flat roofed extension, set-back at N end.
