House. C17, W part and single-storey extension at E later C20. Timber
frame exposed on 1st floor, infill panels and casing to ground floor in
painted brick. Steep old red tile roof, W end half-hipped. A long
1 1/2-storeys house, set back from road, facing N, with gabled tiled porch
off-centre. 3 gabled dormers at front eaves and 4 windows to ground
floor. Casement windows. Garage doors occupy the lower part of the W
part. Plank door to entrance. Before C20 extensions a 3-cells house of 3
structural bays with internal chimney a third from E end and entrance a
third from W end, with external gable chimney to W. Jowled posts, heavy
beamed floor structure; clasped-purlin roof with collar and
multiple-strut truss in E gable.
