Farmhouse, now a private house. Circa 1700, NW extension in angle of
house and rear wing c.1800 and brick rear wall. Timber frame on brick
sill in Flemish-bond, lower sill on S side in English-bond. Roughcast
front and sides, red brick rear wall. Steep hipped old red tile roof.
Slate roofed lean-to on N end, rustic timber 2-bays loggia on S end. A
square, 2-storeys and cellar house, set back from road, facing E, with 2
windows to each floor. Flush box sash windows with 2/2 panes, deeper on
ground floor. Half-glazed early C19 flush beaded panelled door in
centre with moulded wooden surround and later gabled rustic porch.
Originally L-shaped with 2 windows, central-chimney S range. Transomed
2-light casement windows. Extended to square double-pile plan with
chimneys on mid-wall and central entrance and staircase. Interior: has
unjowled posts to frame, chamfered axial beams in front range, original
moulded plank door.
