TL 21 NW AYOT ST PETER The Old Rectory
including garage

House, formerly Vicarage. 1866 by J L Pearson. Red brick with
burnt header courses and stone dressings. 2 storeys. Plain tile
roof with ornamental ridge tiles. Two chimney stacks with
diagonal shafts. Mullioned and transomed windows. Half-timbered
small gables. Entrance elevation has projecting porch bay with
steep hipped roof. Moulded stone Gothic arch to door. Leaded
stair window on left hand. Garden elevation has gabled
projections with 5-light window. Attached by wall on E side is
outbuilding, now garage: 1-storey and attic with half-hipped roof
and hipped dormer. (A Quiney, James Loughborough Pearson
