Public House. Circa 1730-40. Chequered red brick. Old tile
roof with 2 hipped casement dormers and gable end stacks. 2
storeys and attics. 3 C19/20 sash windows, those of ground floor
in canted bay windows either side of central doors, the whole
with a tile hung canopy. C18 moulded wood eaves cornice. C18/19
lean-to on SW with modern extension. (RCHM Typescript)
