GV II


House. Early C18 casing to C17 timber framed 2-bay centre.
Altered in late C19 and early C20. Red brick. Gauged red brick
window lintels. Machine tile hipped roof with 2 tile-hung
dormers. 2 storeys and attics. 5-window original house has
modillioned eaves cornice and flush sash windows with glazing
bars intact. Floor band. Centre 1st floor window has raised
gauged brick surround and wavy lintel. Replacement Queen Anne
style doorcase. Cantel and square ground floor window bays. 2-
window left-hand C20 extension. Interior has central dogleg
staircase with plain round balusters. Wall painting of C17 with
tree motif now in dining room, formerly behind staircase.
Exposed beams to centre.
