House. Formerly known as Elm Tree Farmhouse. Early-mid C18.
Heightened and extended at rear in early C19. Chequered red
brick, rendered on right hand end. 3 floor bands. 4 sash
windows in flush wood frames, those of 1st and 2nd floors with
segmental heads. Central 6-fielded panel door with geometrical
patterned glazing bar fan. Bracketed tiled hood. Machine tiled
roof with front and gable parapets. End stacks. Plastered on
S side and rear. (RCHM Typescript).
