House, formerly farmhouse. C17, extended C19. Painted red brick
and roughcast. Plain tile and slate roofs. U-shaped block. 2
storeys. Rear range and part of right wing are original house,
the rear part with segmental-headed ground floor wood casements
and similar flat-headed 1st floor windows. Right wing has gable
end with off-centre stack. Built into this towards road is a 2-
window mid-C19 block with recessed sash windows and slate roof.
The rear part has a 1-storey left side with a segmental headed
door. The left wing is late C18 or early C19, having an 8/8-pane
sash window and a wide plank door. Modern garage door on end.
