House, formerly village school. C17 or earlier timber frame.
C18 rear wing forming L-plan. Chequered red brick, plaster, steep
pitched old tile roofs. 2 storeys. 2 external chimney stacks on
S elevation. 3-window E elevation with modern casements and C17
chimney stack to N gable end; S gable with exposed purlins and
wall plates. Visited by Vincent Van Gogh, whose sister taught
here.
