Church. 1899 - 1900 by R Weir Schultz. Red brick. Plain tile
roof with belfry on W gable end and canted apsidal E end. Stone
window dressings and flush floor band. Gabled N porch has
carving of St Michael and dragon on tympanum and large arch
mouldings. Nave has 3 slightly recessed 4-light windows with
trefoiled and chamfered surrounds and single mandorla-shaped
windows on W. Triple lancets to W end. Panelled interior has
panelled wagon roof with tie beams. Rood screen has naturalistic
leaf and fruit tracery. Arts and Crafts style font. (Pevsner
(1977) ).
