House. Late C17, altered and extended C19 and C20. Timber frame with
brick infill, casing and extensions. Machine tiled roof. 3 bays. 2
storeys. Central entrance in C20 gabled porch, flush frame 3 light
timber casements, 2 lights to first floor centre, transoms on first
floor. Exposed framing, large panels with straight braces. Some vitreous
diapering, initials IE. Sun Fire Insurance Marker to right. Stack at
left front. Right gable end blackwashed, exposed clasped purlin
construction in roof. Stack to right on rear pitch. 1 storey C19 wing to
rear. Left gable end roughcast over 2 storey C20 addition. Interior:
stop chamfered binding beam and fireplace lintel. (RCHM Typescript).
