House. Mid to late C17, altered and extended C20. Timber frame with
whitewashed brick infill and weatherboarding. Extended in brick with
sham timber framing. Tiled roof. 2 storeys. Original 2 bay range to left
with gable end to front. Exposed framing, partially renewed, jowled
post, cambered tie beam, struts to collar clasping purlins. Left return
exposed framing in front bay with passing braces. Rear bay
weatherboarded. 2 light C20 leaded casements. C20 addition to right with
projecting entrance porch, similar 3 and 4 light casements. Taller ridge
with roof hipped to left over early range, half hipped to right with an
outshut. Interior not inspected.
