Wrongly shown on OS map as Chenies Road. Well house with well head gear. C19. Timber house with tiled roof. Iron gear. Square house of 4 posts with braces to plates supporting pyramidal roof. Two internal posts to a tie hold winding gear. Hand operated by handle to large round wheel, now detached, to lower axle with small cog wheel on far side engaging large upper cog wheel with upper axle holding central toothed wheel over which lifting chain passed. Stone slabs over well.
