City of London Coal Duty Marker. 1861. Cast by H. Grissell, Regents
Canal Ironworks. Cast-iron square pier, one and a half metres high,
painted white. Chamfered corners. Pyramid top. City of London crest on
necking. Raised lettering on front face of shaft '24 and 25 Vict. Cap
42'. Marked extent of coal duty to boundaries of Metropolitan Police
