Former barn to Crossely Wylde, The Green (q.v.). Part dwelling, part
garage. C17 or C18, altered C20. Timber frame on brick base. Some stock
brick nogging, some weatherboarding. Tiled roof. 3 bays. Away from house
is central gabled midstrey, framing exposed with brick nogging above
double door to garage. Catslide roof over flanking lean-tos. Right gable
end of barn to road has exposed framing with brick nogging, inserted
windows, added stacks. Interior: curved braces from posts to tie beams,
angled queen struts clasp purlins, curved windbraces.
