Garden wall enclosing Italian garden at Moor Park (q.v.) laid out
c.1830. Ashlar. Low wall less than 1m in height runs from S return angle
at front of house in sections articulated by short piers turning through
3 right angles to an end N of house. On central axis of house there is a
step out with a segmental curve around fountain (q.v.). Moulded plinth
and slightly cambered head to wall. Piers have moulded caps, 2 with
recessed moulded panels. Included for group value. See also urns,
sundial and putti (q.q.v.).
