House. Probably C16 or early C17. Refronted late C18. Timber frame, red
brick front. Steeply pitched machine tiled roof. 3 bays. 2 storeys and
attic. Entrance in central bay with flat arched head. Flanking 3 light
casements with leaded panes. Plinth. Ground floor left double door
carriageway. 4 first floor 2 light casements, leaded panes. Dentilled
brick eaves. A gabled 2 light dormer to left. Cross axial ridge stack
between 2 left bays. Exposed first floor studs to rear. Rebuilt 2 storey
wing projects to rear. Interior: stop chamfered beams, jowled posts and
arched braces to queen strut collar trusses.
