House. Late C16 or early C17, cased C18, extended and altered C20.
Timber frame on flint base. Whitewashed brick casing and additions. Sham
timber frame applied. Tiled roof. 3 bay lobby entry. 2 storeys. 2 storey
projecting entrance porch with overhanging first floor, a small
casement, gabled head. Left bay has 2 light casements, right bay 3 light
casements. Sham framing throughout. Axial ridge stack with rebuilt cap.
Lean-to on left gable end. A lower addition to right with 3 light case-
ments. A further C20 bay to right, right end weatherboarded over a lean-
to. To rear: an early wing to centre with exposed purlins and an extruded
stack. Lower flanking C20 gabled wings which make return elevations
double gabled and extend to make the whole roughly square on plan.
Further lean-to additions to rear. Interior not inspected. (RCHM 1910).
