House. Early to mid C17. Cased in C18, extended C20. Timber frame. Red
brick casing, part whitewashed. Brick addition. Tiled roof. 2 bays. 1
storey and attic. Entrance at left end of original building, three 2
light ground floor casements, all with cambered heads. Blocked entrance
to right of centre. Straight joint. Two 2 light dormers with
weatherboarded gabled heads. Right gable end exposed framing. Large C18
external stack with offsets, weatherboarded oven to rear. C18 and C20
brick to rear, ground floor French windows and 2 light casements with
cambered heads, 4 dormers. Hipped roof at left end over C20 addition
which projects forward with gable end to front. Interior: ground floor
stop chamfered binding beam, exposed frame. Clasped purlin roof with
curved windbraces.
