Forge. C18 or early C19. Timber frame weatherboarded with
hipped red pantile roof. A small, single-storey, rectangular
building facing N on the roadside. Chimney pot central to W
part. The front has a wide shuttered window opening in the
middle and double doors next the E corner. Small 3-light fixed
window on a W end. Brick hearth and chimney free-standing
inside. A picturesque traditional building at road junction in
the village centre. Included for group value.
