(12m to N of house)

GV II

Ice house. C18 or early C19. Red brick, built into earth bank
on inner edge of the moat. A domed brick circular chamber with
deep conical well below level of entrance passage from S.
Entered near springing of dome by narrow vaulted brick lined
passage originally with a wooden door at each end. Outer plank
door renewed, check for inner door.
