6/9 Rose Cottage

GV II

House. C18. Timber frame roughcast on stucco plinth with old
red tiled roof, carried down as catslide over rear outshot. A 2-
cell, 2 storeys house facing W. Entry into larger room on right
with chamfered and ogee stopped cross-beam and large internal
gable chimney. Axial beam to smaller room on left with stair
rising in outshot to rear and external gable chimney to ground
floor fireplace, possibly not original. 2 front windows to each
floor and gabled porch in middle. Flush 2-light casement windows
with small panes. Small square window to 1st floor closet in
front of right hand chimney (possibly site of an earlier stair).
