House. C16; heightened, floor inserted and rear lateral hall
chimney built in later C17, renovated in late C19 and c1942.
Timber frame roughcast with steep old red tile roof. An L-plan
house facing S. Rear gabled wing at NW. A 3-cell, 2 storeys
house formerly a single-storey open hall house, possibly with a
2-storeys wing at W. Assymetrical front with 3 windows to each
floor and gabled porch a third from E end. Flush 2-light
casement windows with painted margins. External gable chimney at
E, and later internal gable chimney at W. Interior has jowled
posts wall plate and cut tie-beams of older structure. C17 rear
door of 3 vertical panels, the middle one moulded. (RCHM
