10/13 The Cottage



House. Cl7 or earlier, altered in early C19. Timber frame on
stucco sill, roughcast with steep thatched roof. Tiled roofed
lean-to porch with wings. A 2-storeys 3-cell house facing N,
with large central chimney a third from E end and very large
external gable chimney at W with crow steps, and oven under
weatherboarded lean-to. 4 windows to upper floor. Flush box sash
windows with moulded surrounds and 8/8 panes. 4 ground floor
windows renewed. Door a third from W end.
