House. Early C17. Timber frame roughcast with steep thatched
roof. A small 2-cell, one and a half storeys, central chimney
plan house facing N. Entrance now into tiled single-storey
extension at NE corner. Single fireplace serving E room with
chamfered axial beam and exposed square joists. Dog leg stair in
NW corner of unheated W room with chamfered axial beam. Clasped-
purlin roof with moulded chin to jowled posts with straight
tension-bracing. N front has 2 windows with small panes. Double
doors, each with 3 flush beaded panels, in NE extension.
