Barn with sheds attached, now 2 houses. Later Cl7 barn with
early C19 lower wings, converted to 2 houses in 1980's. Timber
frame on red brick sill (renewed). Frame exposed with white
panels. E range has flint rear wall with brick piers facing the
lane. Steep old red tile roof, hipped at E. Wings slated with
hipped ends. Former double barn faces S with 2 gabled porches
and lower ranges run southward from each end. Each house has
half with entrance recessed in gabled porch, 2 gabled dormers at
the eaves and a window below each. 2-light casement windows.
Red brick chimneys at centre of block, at W gable and on the rear
roofslope at NE. Included for group value.
