Ward Hill Stud
- (50m to ENE of house)


Barn, now converted to stables. Later Cl7, altered in C20.
Timber frame dark weatherboarded with a steep tiled roof. A 5-
bay barn facing E with gabled porch in middle of E side. Lower
stable ranges linked on W not of special interest. Curved braces
to tie-beams. Straight braces in walls. Clasped-purlin roof
with inclined queen-strut and collar trusses.
