House. C16. Timber frame on painted brick sill, roughcast with
weatherboarded apron and steep old red tile roof. One and a half
storeys, 3-cell, central-chimney, lobby-entry plan house facing
S. Red brick T-plan chimney a third from E end, and drip-board
across E gable. 2-light casement windows, and gabled dormer to
chamber over middle room. Gabled porch to boarded door.
Interior has wide fireplace (infilled), plank doors with strap
hinges and C18 cyma bracketed cornice along N and S walls of
middle room (similar to The Croft No 2 Town Lane). Named after a
recent owner.
