House, sometime the Green Dragon PH. Cl7 or earlier, extended in
C19. Timber frame roughcast with steep thatched roof. Exterior
painted brickwork with thatched roofs. A 2-storeys, 3-cell plan
house facing S. Higher C19 2 storeys E crosswing and one-storey
front gabled wing at SW. Rear lateral chimney and E bay of older
house roofed at lower level. Assymetrical front with one window
to each floor of each wing and 2 windows to each floor of centre.
Casement windows set flush but flush box sash window with 10/10
small panes to 1st floor in middle. W gable of old part dark
weatherboarded over a brick and flint ground floor. Exposed
close-studded framework aside.
