House. Cl7, N wing later C20. Timber frame on low stuccoed
plinth, roughcast with a steep old red tile roof. A 2-storeys,
3-cell, central-chimney, lobby-entry plan house facing E, with
hipped single-storey tiled extension at S and 2-storeys N
extension gabled to rear. Near symmetrical E front after
extension. 4 single-casement windows to 1st floor, and 4 flush
sash windows with 8/8 panes (renewed) to ground floor. Gabled
weatherboarded hood to panelled door with decorative hinge
plates. Axial central red brick chimney plastered below cap.
Interior has axial beam to parlour on right of chimney, and
cross-beams in hall and service room to left of chimney.
