House. Cl7 or earlier, renovated with lower matching end
extensions in C20. Timber frame on stucco plinth, roughcast with
a steep thatched roof, half-hipped at E. Hipped thatch roofs to
end extensions. A 2-cell, one-storey and attic, central chimney
plan house facing N. Break in plinth for central lobby entrance
by chimney on site of present stair. Old part has 2 windows with
2 gabled dormers over. 3-light flush casement windows. Red
brick, single-flue chimney extended by one flue to rear and re-
capped. Interior has exposed axial beams and joists, open fire
with timber lintol. Angled corner entrance at NW by a pointed
doorway with boarded door. One front casement window to each
extension.
