GV II

Walled garden. C18 and early C19. Partly red brick, partly
brown stock brick. York stone capping and pediment to W
entrance. A large trapezoidal walled garden with walls about 3m
high. Lean-to C19 greenhouses along W part of N wall. Minor
entrance in thickened pier in middle of S side. Close spaced
external buttress pilasters. W gateway rises above wall and has
a flat segmental arch with recessed panel over and York stone
notional pediment with acroteria. Decorative iron gates.
